Soulja Boy has just released the official cover cover art for his upcoming Promise album, scheduled for a March 2012 release date.
Soulja Boy still continues to reinvent himself as he moves away from the teenage stardom days. To say adulthood has been a rough transition for the SODMG leader would be a massive understatement.
Over the past year, Beezy has run into all sorts of issues including his beef with the entire military for sending a diss record out aimed at troops to being arrested for drugs and guns. Not to mention the fact that his last album ‘The DeAndre’ Way was commercially considered a failure selling only 13,000 copies in its first week.
The 21 year old musician is looking to turn things around in 2012 offering a ‘Promise’ to his fans with a more mature sound in his new music. Soulja has dropped a handful of free mixtapes this year, all of which received heavy criticism within the hip hop community.
With the new year literally right around the corner, Soulja Boy has taken to his Twitter account unveiling the official album cover art for his upcoming ‘Promise’ album set to release in March of 2012. Check out the album cover above.
