Chris Brown recently offered his perspective on what it’s like to work with Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber, and added that fans should be looking forward to his upcoming joint with Beebs. The singer recently worked with Lil Wayne on ‘Look At Me Know,’ which also features Busta Rhymes, and Brown, and connected with Bieber to put out ‘Next 2 You.’
Brown has worked extensively with Lil Wayne over the course of his career, but says that their multiple collaborations are the result of their friendship. “Working with Wayne is always incredible. I’ve had Wayne on every single album I’ve done, you know? From ‘Give Me That’ to ‘Poppin (Remix)’ to ‘Transform Ya’ to ‘Look At Me Now.’ And yo being able to work with these guys is incredible and I think I build most of my collaborations just off of the relationship that I’ve built with these guys over the years,” Brown told MTV News.
The singer told MTV News that the best part about working with the young singer is his high energy. The two met up last year to create ‘Ladies Love Me’ for Brown’s ‘Boy in Detention’ mixtape, and the ‘F.A.M.E.’ creator may drop in for Bieber’s next album. “Being able to collab with him was great. He’s a young, energetic cat so being able to work with him with the fan base he has was incredible. I know a lot of little girls are gonna love this record that me and him did…He’s doing his thing like at a young age and I was doing mine at a young age so being able to see him come up was dope and work with all these cats,” Chris Brown said.
Brown has worked with a number of artists over the past few years including Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams and Swizz Beatz. Perhaps his most notable collaborative effort is on ‘Look At Me Now’ which could bring the singer a Grammy on February 12th.
