Bow Wow took to his blog to dismiss claims that the IRS had filed a tax lien against him in Florida for $91,105.61 in unpaid taxes from 2006. The rumors emerged from TMZ after the celebrity news site obtained the court documents which had been filed by the government.
Although TMZ claims they couldn’t not obtain a comment from one of Bow Wow’s reps, the rapper promptly blogged his denial of the allegation saying that it’s simply “Not True.” The rapper went on to issue a warning to his fans about saying, “We all know not to believe anything the media writes or blogs its their job to entertain the minds of the simple minded.”
Bow Wow also explained that his upcoming YMCMB debut ‘Underrated’ has been pushed back to 2012 for a number of personal reasons and because he wants to get it right. “Underrated is a classic. This is my best work. So i be damn i put it out and it aint right,” said Bow Wow. The rapper also added that his time in the studio was interrupted by a recent tour and because he’s been working on a sitcom with Ice Cube.
According to Bow Wow, fans can expect a taste of the record in a week or two when the video for ‘Sweat’ comes out. He added that he’s been pushing to get India.Arie to sing on ‘Boy Or Girl’ as the Grammy Award winning soul singer is already sampled on the track.
Bow Wow began work on ‘Underrated’ when he was signed to Cash Money Records in 2009, but the album has been pushed back several times including its recent disappearance from the December release schedule. A number of artists are slated to feature on the record including Birdman, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, and Snoop Dogg.
